Babbo Ristorante e Enoteca is anItalian restaurant inNew York City.[1]

Opened in 1998 byMario Batali,[2][3] it received theJames Beard Foundation Award forBest New Restaurant the following year. Batali sold his ownership stake in the restaurant in 2019 after being embroiled in misconduct claims.

After being sold toStarr Restaurants in February 2025,[4][5] Baboo reopened eight months later.[6] The restaurant received aMichelin star for several years and was featured in the bookHeat byBill Buford.[7]
