Arthur Caesar (9 March 1892 – 20 June 1953) was a Romanian-Americanscreenwriter and the brother of songwriterIrving Caesar.
Caesar first started writingHollywood films in 1924. Most of his films were in theB-movie category. He won anAcademy Award for the story ofManhattan Melodrama (1934), which is most famous today for being the film thatJohn Dillinger had just seen before getting gunned down outside the cinema.
Caesar died inBeverly Hills, California on June 20, 1953.[1]
