Archibald Watson Wright (23 November 1924 – 30 April 1990) was a Scottishfootballer who played as aninside forward. During his career, he played forHamilton Academical,Clyde,Falkirk,Blackburn Rovers,Grimsby Town, andAccrington Stanley.[2]
Wright was signed for a small fee by then Grimsby Town managerBill Shankly in 1953.[3]
He later became manager ofAirdrieonians, and was in charge of the club as of December 1964.[4]
