Cicerone Field at Anteater Ballpark is theballpark at theUniversity of California, Irvine inIrvine, California, United States. It is thehome stadium of theUC Irvine Anteaters baseball team. Opened in 2002,[1] the stadium has 908 seats and can accommodate up to an additional 2,500 people on a grass berm.[2][3][4] The record attendance of 3,083 occurred on opening day of the revival of the team, January 25, 2002, versus theUniversity of San Diego.[5] The team lost 5-8.[6]

In 2009, the ballpark's field was named forRalph J. Cicerone,[7] the university'schancellor from 1998 to 2005.[8]
