Anna Verouli (Greek:Άννα Βερούλη, born November 13, 1956) is a retiredGreekjavelin thrower. She was born inKavala.[1]
Anna Verouli won the gold medal at the1982 European Athletics Championships, and a bronze medal at the1983 World Championships in Athletics.[2] She won two gold medals in theMediterranean Games in 1983 and 1991, in 1987, she won a silver medal.[3]
She was named theGreek Female Athlete of the Year for 1982 and 1983.
Verouli tested positive fornandrolone at the1984 Summer Olympics and was banned from the competition.[4]
She was married to weightlifterIoannis Tsintsaris.
