Alfonso Abraham Sánchez Anaya (born 23 January 1941) is aMexican politician affiliated with theNational Regeneration Movement (Morena)[1] (formerly, with theParty of the Democratic Revolution (PRD) and theInstitutional Revolutionary Party (PRI)). He served as Senator of the60th and61st sessions of Congress (2006–2012) representingTlaxcala. He also served as adeputy between 1994 and 1997, representingTlaxcala'ssecond district, before becomingGovernor of Tlaxcala in 1999, a post he held until 2004.[2]
