Ajdovščina Airfield (ICAO:LJAJ) (Slovene:Letališče Ajdovščina) is a local airfield andtouristaerodrome in theVipava Valley,Slovenia. The field was originally built for theBattles of the Isonzo and is today home to theJosip Križaj Ajdovščina Aeroclub[1][2] and theultralight aircraft manufacturerPipistrel.[3] The flying club is named after the Slovene war aceJosip Križaj (a.k.a. Giuseppe Krizai).[4]
