Adrián Carlos Czornomaz (born April 30, 1968) is an Argentine former professionalfootballer who played as astriker for several teams, mainly from theArgentine Primera B Nacional, of which he is the all-time top goalscorer with 160.

Career

Born inSarandí, Buenos Aires, Argentina, Czornomaz playedbaby-fútbol for Defensores del Monte before joining the youth ranks ofArgentino de Quilmes, making his debut with them in thePrimera C.[1]

Czornomaz also played forIndependiente,San Lorenzo de Almagro,Banfield,Belgrano,Quilmes,All Boys,Los Andes,Tucumán,Gimnasia y Esgrima,Tigre,Independiente Rivadavia,Tristán Suárez,Defensa y Justicia andTalleres de Escalada in Argentina,Cobreloa inChile,SK Rapid Wien inAustria,Universitario[2] andSporting Cristal inPeru andTigres de la UANL[3] ofMexico.[1][4][5]

Czornomaz is ofUkrainian descent.[6] His son,Nicolás Czornomaz, currently plays forPanionios F.C. in theSuper League Greece 2.[7]

He was nicknamedPirata (Pirate).[1]
