Adedayo Odeleye (born October 17, 1997)[1] is a Nigerian-BritishAmerican footballdefensive end for theDallas Cowboys of theNational Football League (NFL). He has previously played for theBerlin Thunder of theEuropean League of Football (ELF).
Odeleye was born inLagos, Nigeria and his family moved to the United Kingdom when he was nine.[2]
He played his first football games forLoughborough University in 2017.[3][2] He was also active inrugby.[4]

In March 2021, he was accepted into the NFLInternational Player Pathway Program (IPPP), but ultimately was not signed for the NFL.[6]
In the2021 season, he played for theBerlin Thunder in theEuropean League of Football. With 34tackles (14 for a loss), sevensacks and a recoveredfumble in eight games, he was selected to the ELF All Star Team.[3]
Odeleye was invited back to the NFL IPPP in 2022 and was ultimately signed by theHouston Texans for the2022 season.[7][2] He was waived on August 31, 2022, but signed to the practice squad the next day. On January 10, 2023, he signed a reserve/future contract. He was waived on August 29, 2023, but signed to the practice squad the next day. On January 29, 2024, Odeleye's contract expired with the team and was waived.
On August 30, 2024, Odeleye was signed to theBaltimore Ravens practice squad.[8] He signed a reserve/future contract on January 21, 2025.[9]
On August 26, 2025, Odeleye was waived by the Ravens as part of final roster cuts.[10]
On August 27, 2025, Odeleye signed with theDallas Cowboys practice squad.[11] He signed a reserve/future contract on January 6, 2026.[12]
