TheDemocratic Convention was held on April 9, 2022.[ 1] TheRepublican Convention was held on April 23, 2022.[ 2] Primary elections were held on June 28, 2022.[ 3] The elections coincided with elections for other offices inUtah , including theUS Senate ,US House , and theUtah House .
Following the 2022 elections,Republicans maintained theirsupermajority with an unchanged 23-to-6 member advantage overDemocrats .[ 4]
