The2022 elections for the Indiana House of Representatives took place on Tuesday November 8, 2022, to elect representatives from all 100 districts in theIndiana House of Representatives . The primary election took place on Tuesday May 3, 2022.[ 1] TheRepublican Party had held a House majority since 2011.[ 2]
The elections forIndiana United States Senator ,Indiana's nine congressional districts , and theIndiana Senate were also held on this date.
Democrats gained one seat (Carmel andFort Wayne ), decreasing theRepublican supermajority to 70 out of 100 seats.[ 3]
