

The2018 Wakefield Metropolitan Borough Council election took place on 3 May 2018 to elect members ofWakefield Metropolitan District Council in England.[1] The election was held on the same day as otherlocal elections. TheLabour Party and theConservative Party fielded a full slate of 21 candidates, as well as 12Liberal Democrats, 6Yorkshire Party candidates, 4Green Party candidates, 3UK Independence Party candidates, 1Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition candidate and 1Democrats and Veteran's Party candidate.[2]
