The2014 Georgia lieutenant gubernatorial election was held on November 4, 2014, in order to elect thelieutenant governor of Georgia.Republican nominee andincumbent lieutenant governorCasey Cagle defeatedDemocratic nominee and former member of theGeorgia State SenateConnie Stokes.[1]

General election

On election day, November 4, 2014,Republican nomineeCasey Cagle won re-election by a margin of 403,948 votes against his opponentDemocratic nomineeConnie Stokes, thereby retaining Republican control over the office of lieutenant governor. Cagle was sworn in for his third term on January 12, 2015.[2]
