The2013 Birmingham, Alabama mayoral election was held on August 27, 2013, to elect the mayor ofBirmingham, Alabama. Incumbent MayorWilliam A. Bell, who was first elected in a2010 special election and re-elected to a two-year term in2011, ran for re-election to his first full term as mayor.[1] He faced a little-known field of challengers and won re-election in a landslide,[2] receiving 82 percent of the vote.
