Michael Nyman, during his period as Composer-in-Residence at Badisches Staatstheater in Karlsruhe, Germany, produced hisViolin Concerto and an operaMan and Boy: Dada, with libretto byMichael Hastings.It was premièred at theBadisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe in the following year.
