The2002 Women's FA Community Shield was the thirdWomen's FA Community Shield, as with itsmale equivalent, the Community Shield is an annual football match played between the winners of the previous season'sleague and the previous season'sWomen's FA Cup.[1][2] The match was contested betweenFulham andArsenal, on 8 August 2002 atBrisbane Road, the home ground ofLeyton Orient.[3] Fulham won 5–3 onpenalties after a 2–2 draw inside regular time.[4]
