1F-LSD, also known as1-(furan-2-carbonyl)-LSD,1-(2-furoyl)-LSD, orSYN-L-005, is apsychedelic drug of thelysergamide family related tolysergic acid diethylamide (LSD).[1][2] It is thought to act as aprodrug of LSD.[1][2] The drug interacts withserotonin receptors, including theserotonin5-HT2A receptor, and produces thehead-twitch response in rodents, with about 3-fold lowerpotency than LSD.[1] Ithydrolyzes into LSD in rodents.[1] 1F-LSD waspatented in 2024[2] and was first described in thescientific literature in 2025.[1] It has been encountered as a noveldesigner drug inGermany andJapan.[1]
