The1995 Canadian Open, also known by its sponsored nameDu Maurier Canadian Open, was a men's and women's professionaltennis tournament played onoutdoor hard courts that was part of theChampionship Series, Single Week of the1995 ATP Tour, and ofTier I of the1995 WTA Tour. The men's event took place at theJarry Stadium inMontreal,Quebec,Canada, from July 24 through July 31, 1995, and the women's event at theNational Tennis Centre inToronto, Ontario, Canada, from August 13 through August 20, 1995. First-seededAndre Agassi, the defending champion, andMonica Seles won the singles titles.[3][4] It was Seles' first tournament back after being stabbed during a match at theWTA Hamburg in April 1993.[5][6]
