The1980 United States presidential election in Oklahoma took place on November 4, 1980. All fifty states andThe District of Columbia were part of the1980 United States presidential election. State voters chose eight electors to theElectoral College, who voted forpresident andvice president.

Oklahoma was won by former CaliforniaGovernorRonald Reagan (R) by a 25-point landslide.[1] It is a reliably Republican state, and the last Democratic presidential candidate to carry the state wasLyndon Johnson in1964.[2]
