The1960 United States presidential election in Maryland took place on November 8, 1960, as part of the1960 United States presidential election. State voters chose nine[2] representatives, or electors, to theElectoral College, who voted forpresident andvice president.

Maryland was won bySenatorJohn F. Kennedy (DMassachusetts), running with SenatorLyndon B. Johnson, with 53.61% of the popular vote againstincumbent Vice PresidentRichard Nixon (RCalifornia), running with formerUnited States Ambassador to the United NationsHenry Cabot Lodge Jr., with 46.39% of the popular vote.[3][4]
