The1957 Southwestern Louisiana Bulldogs football team was anAmerican football team that represented the Southwestern Louisiana Institute of Liberal and Technical Learning (now known as theUniversity of Louisiana at Lafayette) in theGulf States Conference during the1957 college football season. In their first year under head coachJohn Robert Bell, the team compiled a 4–5–1 record.[1][2]
