The1950 United States House of Representatives election in Wyoming was held on November 7, 1950. Incumbent Republican CongressmanFrank A. Barrett opted to successfullyrun for Governor rather than seek re-election. State RepresentativeWilliam Henry Harrison, the grandson of PresidentBenjamin Harrison, won the Republican nomination, and faced John B. Clark, the Chairman of theWyoming Democratic Party, in the general election. Harrison ultimately defeated Carl with 54 percent of the vote.
