The1946 All-Southwest Conference football team consists ofAmerican football players chosen by theAssociated Press (AP) and theUnited Press (UP) as the best players at each position among teams playing in theSouthwest Conference during the1946 college football season.

In the UP voting, Texas quarterbackBobby Layne received the highest total with 38 points. Rice guardWeldon Humble ranked second with 37 points.[1] Humble and Texas endHub Bechtol were also consensus picks for the1943 All-America college football team.[2]
