The1940 United States presidential election in Oklahoma took place on November 5, 1940, as part of the1940 United States presidential election. Voters chose 11[2] representatives, or electors, to theElectoral College, who voted forpresident andvice president.
Oklahoma was won byincumbent PresidentFranklin D. Roosevelt (D–New York), running withSecretaryHenry A. Wallace, with 57.41% of the popular vote, againstWendell Willkie (R–New York), running withMinority LeaderCharles L. McNary, with 42.23% of the popular vote.[3][4]
