The1937Argentine Primera División was the 46th season of top-flightfootball in Argentina. The season began on April 4 and ended on December 19.[1] There were 18 teams in the tournament, andRiver Plate won the championship.

Relegation system started this season, when it was ruled that the two worst placed teams would be relegated toSecond Division.[2] Those teams wereArgentinos Juniors andQuilmes.
