The1903 Illinois Fighting Illini football team was anAmerican football team that represented theUniversity of Illinois during the1903 college football season. In their first season under head coachGeorge Washington Woodruff, the Illini compiled an 8–6 record and finished in seventh place in theWestern Conference.[1] Guard/endClaude Rothgeb was the team captain.[2]
