The1902 Italian Football Championship was the fifth edition of that competition.Genoa C.F.C. regained the title having lost in the previous season's final toAC Milan. Milan did not defend their title. This was Genoa's fourth win of this championship.
It was expanded to include seven clubs, like most previous season coming from three Northern Italian regions. 4Piedmont clubs played a round robin that required a tie break to decide who would go through to the final. Two clubs fromLiguria and one fromLombardy contested a knock out competition to decide the finalist from the three of them.
