The administrative county of Kesteven (1889–1974), shown within England. Thesecond set of elections toKesteven County Council were held on Thursday, 3 March 1892.[ 1] historic county ofLincolnshire in England; it consisted of the ancientwapentakes (or hundreds) ofAswardhurn ,Aveland ,Beltisloe ,Boothby Graffoe ,Flaxwell ,Langoe ,Loveden ,Ness , andWinnibriggs and Threo .[ 2] Local Government Act 1888 established Kesteven as anadministrative county , governed by a Council;[ 3] Local Government Act 1972 , which establishedLincolnshire County Council in its place.[ 4] [ 5]
