Anchorage International Airport's 2025 Holiday Art Contest for Kids!
We're inviting young artists to join our 2025 Holiday Art Contest, where the magic of the season meets the wonder of aviation! This is a fantastic chance for kids to showcase their creativity and see their artwork displayed on the walls of the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport.
Contest Details:
Theme: All artwork must be holiday and aviation-themed. Imagine snow-capped runways, planes decorated in festive colors, or passengers flying home for the holidays. Let your imagination take flight!
Medium: Whether it's drawn, painted with watercolors, crafted with paper-mâché, or any other medium, all entries are welcome!Just make sure your artwork is easy to hang on the wall so it can be proudly displayed.
Size Requirement: Artwork should be no larger than8.5 x 11 inches-perfect for us to display!
Who Can Enter: Open to kidsup to age 12.
How to Enter:
All entries must be received by4 pm on December 5th to be eligible. For instruction on where to drop off artwork at the airport, call907-266-2443 or emaillex.yelverton@alaska.gov.
Important: Please write your name, age, school name, and a contact phone number on the back of your artwork so we can reach you if you win!
Voting Period:
FromDecember 8th through December 19th, the traveling public will have the chance to view all submissions andvote for their favorite artwork displayed on the wall. Let your creativity wow the crowd!
