Name.com to trademark the Bearglecorn
Don’t rip off the Bearglecorn or Statton Hammock will send you a cease & desist.
Wait–I’m sorry? You aren’t familiar with the bearglecorn!?!
Perhaps that’s because you’ve never landed on aName.com 404 page.
The Bearglecorn isName.com‘s mascot. It’s a mix of bear, eagle, and unicorn.
It wascreated many years ago, but apparently its likenesswasn’t used to shamelessly sell domain names until 2013. That’s the first use in commerce date on the trademark application.
The USPTO hasn’t published the trademark application for opposition yet, but I expect a flood of opposition when it does. I’ve heard GoDaddy has been working on a Corbeagle.

Very important piece of intellectual property. Worth any effort to protect it….not.
