- copy wide-characters in memory with overlapping areas
#include <wchar.h>wchar_t *wmemmove(wchar_t *ws1,const wchar_t *ws2,size_tn);
Thewmemmove() function copiesn wide-characters from the object pointed to byws2 to the object pointed to byws1. Copying takes place asif then wide-characters from the object pointed to byws2 are firstcopied into a temporary array ofn wide-characters that does not overlapthe objects pointed to byws1 orws2, and then thenwide-characters from the temporary array are copied into the object pointed to byws1.
This function is not affected by locale and allwchar_t values aretreated identically. The null wide-character andwchar_t values not corresponding tovalid characters are not treated specially.
Ifn is 0,ws1 andws2 must be a validpointers, and the function copies zero wide-characters.
Thewmemmove() function returns the value ofws1.
No errors are defined.
