- find a wide-character in memory
#include <wchar.h>wchar_t *wmemchr(const wchar_t *ws,wchar_twc,size_tn);
#include <wchar.h>const wchar_t *wmemchr(const wchar_t *ws,wchar_twc,size_tn);
#include <cwchar>wchar_t *std::wmemchr(wchar_t *ws,wchar_twc,size_tn);
Thewmemchr() function locates the first occurrence ofwc in the initialn wide-characters of the object pointed to bews. This function isnot affected by locale and allwchar_t values are treated identically. The null wide-character andwchar_t values not corresponding to valid characters arenot treated specially.
Ifn is 0,ws must be a valid pointer andthe function behaves as if no valid occurrence ofwc is found.
Thewmemchr() function returns a pointer to the located wide-character, ora null pointer if the wide-character does not occur in the object.
No errors are defined.
