Thegetzoneid() function returns the zone ID of the calling process.
Thegetzoneidbyname() function returns the zone ID corresponding to the named zone,if that zone is currently active. Ifname isNULL, the functionreturns the zone ID of the calling process.
Thegetzonenamebyid() function stores the name of the zone with ID specifiedbyid in the location specified bybuf. Thebufsize argument specifiesthe size in bytes of the buffer. If the buffer is toosmall to hold the complete null-terminated name, the firstbufsize bytes of thename are stored in the buffer. A buffer of size {ZONENAME_MAX} issufficient to hold any zone name. Ifbuf isNULL orbufsizeis 0, the name is not copied into the buffer.
On successful completion,getzoneid() andgetzoneidbyname() return a non-negative zone ID. Otherwise,getzoneidbyname() returns -1 and setserrno to indicate the error.
On successful completion, thegetzonenamebyid() function returns the buffer size required tohold the full null-terminated name. Otherwise, it returns -1 and setserrnoto indicate the error.
Thegetzoneidbyname() function will fail if:
Thename argument is non-null and points to an illegal address.
A zone with the indicatedname is not active.
The length of thename argument exceeds {ZONENAME_MAX}.
Thegetzonenamebyid() function will fail if:
A zone with the specified ID is not active.
Thebuf argument points to an illegal address.
