- process context library
cc [flag... ]file...-lpctx [library... ]
Functions in this library provide a simple means to access the underlyingfacilities ofproc(4) to allow a controlling process to manipulate the stateof a controlled process.
This library is primarily for use in conjunction with thelibcpc(3LIB) library. Used together, these libraries allow developers to construct tools that can manipulateCPU performance counters in other processes. Thecputrack(1) utility is an exampleof such a tool.
The shared objectlibpctx.so.1 provides the public interfaces defined below. SeeIntro(3)for additional information on shared object interfaces.
