- mount a udfs file system
mount-F udfs [generic_options] [-ospecific_options] [-O]specialmount_point
mount-F udfs [generic_options] [-ospecific_options] [-O]special |mount_point
Themount utility attaches audfs file system to the file systemhierarchy at themount_point, which is the pathname of a directory. Ifmount_point has any contents prior to the mount operation, these are hidden untilthe file system is unmounted.
If mount is invoked with eitherspecial ormount_point as the onlyarguments, mount searches/etc/vfstab to fill in the missing arguments, including thespecific_options. Seemount(1M).
Theudfs file system supports direct mounting of files containing the filesystem as well as block devices. Seemount(1M) andlofiadm(1M).
Ifspecial andmount_point are specified without anyspecific_options, the default isrw.
If the directory on which a file system is to be mountedis a symbolic link, the file system is mounted on the directoryto which the symbolic link refers, rather than on top of thesymbolic link itself.
Seemount(1M) for the list of supportedgeneric_options.
The following options are supported:
Specifyudfs file system specific options in a comma-separated list with no intervening spaces. The followingspecific_options are available:
Mount the file system without making an entry in/etc/mnttab.
Remount the file system as read-write. The option is used in conjunction with therw option.
A file system mounted read-only can be remounted as read-write. This option fails if the file system is not currently mounted.
Overlay mount. Allow the file system to be mounted over an existing mount point, making the underlying file system inaccessible. If a mount is attempted on a pre-existing mount point without setting this flag, the mount fails, producing the errordevice busy.
