Pluto givesDinah the Dachshund his bone while sleepwalking, but can't understand how she got it when he wakes up! When Pluto sees this, Pluto gives chase and sees her off, but each time, he continually gives Dinah, whose bowel is empty, the bone again. Eventually, when Pluto has had enough and can take no more, he destroys Dinah's doghouse as it starts to rain, only to realize Dinah has a huge litter of puppies and was only trying to take care of her children. Ashamed of his greed and cruelty in the heat of the moment, Pluto decides to make things right by giving Dinah and her puppies his own doghouse and all his bones so they will have everything they need. Elated by Pluto's acts of kindness to her and her puppies, Dinah rewards him with a big wet kiss, after which Pluto happily decides to sleep under some newspapers, content with his good deed and having only what he needs while Dinah and her puppies have a much better life.
