Two years later, the American paperback was released onAugust 1,2017. This edition included the first chapter of the novelLeia, Princess of Alderaan, also written by Gray.
OnMay 4, 2017, LINE Corporation released an online manga adaptation of the novel exclusively inJapan, illustrated by Yusaku Komiyama. Yen pressed announced onNovember 18, 2017, during their Anime NYC panel, that the manga was going to be officially translated and released in theUnited States. The first volume was released onMay 8,2018.
