The Lasats in large city-states, and are led by religious figures, monarchs within the royal family, and the Lasat High Honor Guard. Lasat of the Honor Guard carried often carried Bo-rifles, which they can use to tap into the power of the Force, which they referred to as the Ashla and use for ranged and melee combat.
History[]
During the rise of theGalactic Empire, The Lasats were one of the first worlds to oppose the Empire, and were mostly wiped out on Lasan. One Lasat, Jaro Tapal, served the Jedi Order during this time, and was killed during Order 66 while trying to protect his padawan, the human boy Cal Kestis. Very few other Lasat, such asGarazeb Orrelios,Chava, andGron survived. The Wookies helped as many Lasat as they could to fight and escape the Empire. Most of the survivors were enslaved. The survivors that did escape sought out Lira San to rebuild their race; as the world was protected by a collapsed star cluster, it was nearly impossible for the Empire to find. When Zeb and the crew of the Ghost helped to escort Chava and Gron to find Lira San, Zeb set foot on the world, and discovered there were millions more Lasat still alive and safe from the Empire.
