Bountiful Valley Farm was a walkthrough attraction atDisney California Adventure. Originally opened at theGolden State area, the attraction later became part of theA Bug's Land area since 2002. It was an opening day attraction as it opened with the rest of California Adventure where it was sponsored by Caterpillar which helped contribute to the attraction, a year after Caterpillar celebrated its 75th anniversary in2000.

Bountiful Valley Farm was an opening day attraction where it was built to represent the important agriculture ofCalifornia where the Caterpillar Inc. company helped contribute the attraction and to help the future of California's agricultural industry keep growing. The attraction itself was designed to give guests educational information about the importance of agriculture and how it played an important part all across California.
As ofSeptember 7,2010, Bountiful Valley Farm permanently closed in A Bug's Land to make way for California Adventure's themed land,Cars Land, which opened inJune 15,2012. Part of the area where the guests learned about tractors is now the area whereMater's Junkyard Jamboree operates.
Summary[]
Throughout the attraction, guests passed through the agricultural sections of California consisting of plant life which gives guests information about how plant life plays an important part in California from growing and harvesting crops to Valencia oranges as well as flowers also playing an important part in agriculture. Aside from those, two fake cows were also displayed, which represents cows playing an important part in California in providing dairy-related products for California. Aside from the information about cows providing milk (one of the important liquids playing a part in agriculture), the Bountiful Valley Farm also included information about the California aqueduct, where water (another important liquid which plays an important part in agriculture) is provided to help grow plants where guests learned about irrigation and besides irrigation was a water-play area called the "Irrigation Station".
The attraction also showcased tractors, which provided basis for the "Caterpillar" name which helped contribute the attraction and also displays artwork of how Caterpillar and its tractors playing an important part in agriculture. In addition to the tractors that were displayed there, guests learned about tractor history and how the Illinois-based Caterpillar Inc. company traced its roots to California and also in this attraction was an informational sign about how Caterpillar Inc. did a big impact in California history. Also in the attraction were tractor models manufactured by Caterpillar where guests could learn about the details of the tractor models that were previously displayed. In addition to having the aforementioned displays as well as the gift shop where guests could buy Caterpillar-related souvenirs, two counter-service restaurants were displayed: Bountiful Valley Farmers Market and Sam Andreas Shakes.
Since the opening of "A Bug's Land" in 2002, Bountiful Valley Farm became part of the district where statues of characters from the1998 Disney/Pixar animated film,A Bug's Life were displayed there. Following the opening of it, the Santa Rosa Seed and Supply shop became P.T. Flea Market as part of the attraction's update. Caterpillar continued to sponsor Bountiful Valley Farm until2006 where the tractor models were removed entirely from the attraction.
