Anika Noni Rose is an American actress, voice actress, and singer. She provided both the speaking and singing voices ofPrincess Tiana inDisney's2009 animated feature filmThe Princess and the Frog. In August2011, Rose became one of the few African-Americans to be crowned aDisney Legend for her performance inThe Princess and the Frog, as well as breakingPhil Collins' record for the shortest time between first contributing toThe Walt Disney Company and being named a Disney Legend. In December2014, she reprised the role of Tiana in an episode ofSofia the First and for the2018 animated feature filmRalph Breaks the Internet.
