Official Description[]

After making her long awaited live-action debut inThe Mandalorian,Ahsoka Tano's story, written byDave Filoni, will continue in a limited series starringRosario Dawson and produced by Dave Filoni andJon Favreau.

Set after the fall of theEmpire, "Ahsoka" follows the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.

Production[]

On February 10, 2022, it was reported that the series is scheduled to start production in April under the working title"Stormcrow".^[2]

On April 8, 2022,The Hollywood Reporter reported that Peter Ramsey had been hired to direct at least one episode of the series.^[3]

On May 9, 2022, it was announced that the series had officially started production.^[4]

On December 22, 2022, it was reported thatMary Elizabeth Winstead would portrayHera Syndulla in the series.^[5]

On December 25, 2022, it was reported thatLars Mikkelsen would portray Grand AdmiralThrawn after voicing the character inStar Wars Rebels.^[6]

On April 8, 2023, it was reported that Kevin Kiner would compose the score for the series, after previously working onStar Wars: The Clone Wars,Star Wars Rebels,Star Wars: The Bad Batch, andTales of the Jedi.^[7]

OnJanuary 9,2024, a second season was announced to be in development byDave Filoni.^[8]
