Temporary Closure

All DC Public Library locations will close at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26 and will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 27 and Friday, Nov. 28 in observance of Thanksgiving. The Passport office located at the MLK Library will be closed on Wednesday, Nov. 26. DC Public Library is open 24/7, 365 days a year online.

Peabody Room

The Peabody Room is a special collection of Georgetown neighborhood history, and is a part of The People's Archive.

Walk-ins are welcome during open hours. Contact us to request an appointment at other times.
