| dbo:abstract | - El Wandse (també anomenat Eilbek, Eilbekkanal, Rahlau, Mühlenstrom o Mühlenbek) és un afluent de l'Alster als estats d'Hamburg i de Slesvig-Holstein a Alemanya. Neix al municipi de , tot i que la font veritable encara no s'ha descobert. La darrera part canalitzada al segle xix des del carrer Maxstrasse es diu Eilbekkanal, després esdevé Kuhmühlenteich (pantà del molí de la vaca) i finalment Mundsburger Kanal, uns centenars de metres més lluny a l'. La vall del Wandse va crear-se fa uns 15.000 anys quan les glaceres de la darrera edat glacial van fondre's. A l'inici, el llit va ser molt més ample. A poc a poc quan les quantitats d'aigua de fosa van minvar, el riu va prendre el seu llit actual més estret. (ca)

Sie entspringt nordöstlich von Hamburg in Schleswig-Holstein und mündet am Ende ihres mittlerweile stark kanalisierten Unterlaufes bei Schwanenwik in die Außenalster. Historisch war sie vor allem als Antrieb zahlreicher Wassermühlen bedeutsam, im 19. Jahrhundert wurde ihr Unterlauf als Schifffahrtsweg ausgebaut. Heute dient die Wandse teilweise als Freizeitgewässer, umgeben von einem Grünzug. (de)

The Wandse rises west of the village of Siek in Kreis Stormarn in Schleswig-Holstein and ends in the center of Hamburg in the Alster. Along the banks of the Wandse there were many water mills. The river passes through the settlements of Siek, Braak, Stapelfeld, and Hamburg. The Hamburg district of Wandsbek takes its name from the river as it winds its way westwards via the , a public urban park. After passing through the Mühlenteich pond, the river continues as Eilbek (later Eilbekkanal), eponymous to the Eilbek district. The canal joins the Alster in the heart of Hamburg at Außenalster.
