Charles Herbert Garvin, M.D. (October 27, 1890 – July 17, 1968) was a prominent African-American physician, writer, and educator in Cleveland, Ohio. He published 26 papers for the Journal of the National Medical Association on subjects ranging from tuberculosis in African-American populations, to the history of the black movement. Garvin served in World War I (as a part of the Medical Reserve Corps) in the 92nd Division, a section designated for African-Americans due to the segregation laws.
