Laylah Smith, Legal Consultant

Laylah joined UT CTAS in September 2020. She was previously chief legal counsel for the Greater Nashville Regional Council, specializing in local government, contracts, and employment law. Before that, she practiced elder and family law. Laylah holds a B.B.A. from Belmont University (2004), an M.B.A. from the University of Missouri-St. Louis (2008), and a law degree from Nashville School of Law (2013).
