Clint Shrum, Criminal Justice Consultant

Clint joined UT CTAS in January 2023 after 30 years in law enforcement, including two terms as Grundy County sheriff. He served on the Tennessee Sheriffs’ Association board and the International Association of Chiefs of Police advisory panel. He was named Tennessee Sheriff of the Year in 2020 and received the J. Stannard Baker Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017. Previously, he was a police officer in Winchester and a law enforcement liaison for the Tennessee Highway Safety Office. Clint holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia Southern University, is a certified jail manager, and a graduate of the National Sheriffs’ Institute.
