What a wonderful truth that God has personally created me for a purpose, and is interested in every single day of my life!Psalm 139, written by King David is one of the most eloquent statements of that truth.
Sowhat is “health?” It is a common word in the English language, but its exact meaning can be a bit difficult to pin down. Ask 10 different people on the street what they think “health” means, and you will probably get 10 different answers. Often we can define a word by stating its opposite. The opposite of health would be “sick” or “sickness.” This word is probably more easily defined, and most would define it in terms of diseases and physical maladies.
But is health simply the absence of physical sickness? The history of man as unfolded in the pages of the Bible,the best selling book of all time, sees health and sickness as primarily spiritual issues – as opposed to primarily physical health, as our modern culture does.
Health in Biblical culture is measured by man’s relationship to his Creator. You very seldom see people in Biblical timesgoing to doctors to purchase “health”, and in the few instances where they do, the result is often disastrous. (See 2 Chronicles 16:12-13 and Mark 5:25-26 for examples.)
Instead, you see people who had a relationship with God and believed in Him as their Creator turn to spiritual leaders for guidance in health.
In the Old Testament times you would go to the priests if you were sick, and in the New Testament we have story after story of people seeking out Jesus and His disciples in their sickness and being healed: “Jesus….healed them all.” (Matthew 12:15).
Have times really changed today? Has science and technology along with the modern-day medical system replaced our need to know God and seek Him out to achieve health? Few would agree today that our current medical system solves all our health needs. Many may turn to God when all else fails, in desperation, especially when the medical system has no answers for us and we don’t know where else to look.
Well I am here to proclaim that God is just as interested in giving you true health today as He has been at any other point in history. In fact, His power to help us reach our true purpose in life is more available today than it ever has been!

This Roman officer came to Jesus and asked him to heal his servant, without even going to his home, because he recognized the authority that Jesus had to heal.Jesus replied that he had never seen such faith even among the Jews living in Israel, and he healed the commander's servant. Jesus loved Israel's enemies, and he still does today.

The New Testament portion of the Bible, and specifically the first four books of the New Testament which are referred to as "Gospel Accounts" documenting the historical life of Jesus Christ, has numerous accounts of Jesus' encounters with the Jewish leaders of his day, and his constant opposition against them.Much of this is recorded concerning his teaching in the great Temple in Jerusalem, and opposing the Jewish State.In John Chapter 8, Jesus debated with the ruling Jews in the Temple, refuting their claim that they were a privileged class simply based on their ethnicity tracing back to Abraham.He told them that they actually served Satan, the Father of Lies.But Jesus did more than just make fools out of the ruling Jews by debating them, he also directly challenged their authority, and the most common way he did that, was by healing people.By Jewish Law, only priests had the authority to declare anyone "healed" of diseases under the laws of Moses.Jesus knew this, and often after he healed someone, he told them to go show themselves to the priests, and let the priests take the credit for the healing, but this was mostly done in the earlier part of his ministry as he tried to avoid conflicts with the Jews as much as possible.After the debate in the Temple recorded in John Chapter 8, however, the gloves came off, and Jesus appeared to get very serious about making the Jewish rulers look like the fools they were, and demonstrating just how superior his power was over theirs.In John Chapter 9, we have the record of an amazing event, where Jesus heals a man who was actually born blind, which had never happened before.And he did it on a Sabbath, which the Jews claimed was illegal, just to piss them off even more.But in the process of receiving eyesight for the first time in his life, this man lost everything else, including his family, for admitting the truth that it was Jesus who healed him and gave him his eyesight.

Tensions are high in Israel as I write this on Friday, February 21, 2024.In the overnight hours in Israel heading into Friday, several bombs were allegedly found and detonated on trains and buses in Tel Aviv, although nobody was injured, and I have seen no news reports that more bombs did go off during morning rush hour in Tel Aviv earlier today.I saw this news last night before I went to bed, and wondered if this could be a false flag event to justify immediate retaliation from Israel.But it was not widely reported in the U.S. Corporate news.What was widely reported last night and is still making headline news this morning, is Israel's claim that one of the bodies of the recently returned Israeli hostages was allegedly not the body that Hamas claimed it to be, and this is what dominates the news stream today as I write this.Hamas is standing by their claim that the dead bodies of these hostages were killed by the IDF, and that this person's body was "shredded" by Israeli/U.S. bombs and mixed in with Palestinians who also died during the attacks.Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has claimed that this is a violation of the Gaza ceasefire, and has vowed to take revenge.And as the media has been primarily focused on Gaza and the current ceasefire, Israeli forces have reportedly been killing and expelling Palestinians from the West Bank in recent days, which is where Jerusalem is located.There are even reports that Israel is starting to expel Christians (non-Zionist Christians) from the West Bank as well.President Donald Trump has now succeeded in getting his Zionist cabinet in place, and it is no secret that these Zionists support Trump in his efforts to build a new temple in Jerusalem, which they see as a fulfillment of prophecy.Could the destruction of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem and the beginning of the building of a new temple in Jerusalem now be imminent? One week ago today, the "Nascent Sanhedrin" in Jerusalem endorsed Paula White and the new "White House Faith Office", and called on President Trump to enact the "Noahide Laws" to "establish an International Divine Court for all nations."

Jesus Christ is one of the most famous people to have ever lived in recorded history, and billions of people worldwide claim to follow his teachings.One of the most common beliefs about Jesus is that he came to make the world a "better place", by providing an example of how to live a "Godly life," by serving others.What is truly tragic is that so few people today take the time to read what Jesus actually said, even though the records of his life and his teachings have been translated into most of the world's languages today, from the original Greek manuscripts in the New Testament portion of the Bible.I don't think that anybody who actually reads what Jesus taught, as opposed to listening to or reading what other "experts" like pastors claim he taught, could come away with the belief that Jesus came to make the world "a better place."In fact, he taught just the opposite. Here is one example from the book of Luke in the New Testament:"I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!Do you think I came to bring peace on earth?No, I tell you, but division.From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law." (Luke chapter 12)Jesus never taught his followers to "make the world a better place."He taught, instead, that the Kingdom of God was invading earth, and disrupting Satan's kingdom. The life of the followers of Jesus is vividly described by Jesus, and demonstrated by his own life and those who followed him in the New Testament documents, as a life of constant conflict, a spiritual war of encountering, and opposing, the world system ruled by Satan.Jesus never taught that we need to make the world a better place. He taught us to invade it and oppose it, until he came back to destroy it.

The teachings of Jesus about our biological family members are the complete opposite of what most Christian churches teach today in America, where the false teachings are basically a version of the "prosperity Gospel" that tells people they can become rich as Christians without sacrificing anything, and without persecutions and suffering.If you are an "upstanding" and model Christian in these churches, you most certainly would never leave your family or job, as that would be seen as irresponsible and not "Christian."And yet, if you read the biblical texts yourself, you will clearly see that leaving our families is exactly what Jesus taught his disciples to do.There are exceptions, of course, in American Christianity. If you're a member of the armed forces and your government deploys you to some battlefield to kill people from other countries and other religions who are declared a "threat" to Christian America's "national security," for example, then that's OK.You can leave your family for a year or more on deployment to go kill some "bad guys" in another country, and no one will blame you for leaving your family behind in those situations, because it is the "Christian" thing to do.When we read the accounts of the life of Jesus in the New Testament, we see that Jesus had become so popular from his miracles of healing, raising the dead, and casting out of demonic spirits, that people from all over Israel, and beyond, traveled to see Jesus.But one place where Jesus was NOT popular, was in his own hometown of Nazareth, among his own family and relatives.While the whole nation of Israel was talking about Jesus and debating who he was and if he was, indeed, the promised Messiah, his own family thought he was insane, and literally tried to stop him by taking custody of him.Jesus made it very clear, publicly, that his new family were those who "did the will of God" and followed his teaching, and that his biological family who opposed him, had no authority over him.
