Thevoice package is being developed to be aneasy-to-use set of tools to deal with audio analysis in R. It provides afree and user-friendly toolkit for audio analysis, enabling researchersto extract, tag, and analyze voice data efficiently. It supports theextraction of audio features, enrichment of structured datasets withaudio summaries, and automatic identification of spoken segments—whileintroducing novel features. It also allows audio analysis based onmusical theory, associating frequencies with musical notes arranged in ascore viagmpackage.
