Thedci package provides an R interface to the DendriticConnectivity Index (DCI) allowing for the analysis of longitudinalconnectivity in river networks. Given a set of spatial data representingriver lines, barrier point locations and the location of the targetwatershed’s outlet thedci package provides tools tocalculate ecological connectivity with the DCI. There are options tocalculate the potamodromous or diadromous form of the DCI as well asoptions to consider a distance threshold and/or weights to be applied toriver lengths.
This package extends the tidy representation of geospatial networkdata from thesfnetworks package.This provides access to a rich set of further network analysis toolsfrom thetidygraphpackage as well as data manipulation from thetidyverse family of packages.
