smlePH:R package for fitting the proportional hazards model with sieve maximumfull likelihood estimationsmlePH is a R package to fit the proportional hazardsmodel with the sieve maximum full likelihood estimation. Unlike theconventional partial likelihood approach, the full likelihood methodutilizes whole likelihood information in estimating procedure. In thispackage, we provide two functionssmle_ph andsmle_resid.smle_ph fits the proportionalhazards model and estimates the baseline cumulative hazard function.smle_resid estimates two types of residuals, (i) scoreresidual for each covariate and (ii) deviance residual for linearcombination of all covariates.
